Church’s Chicken Leverages Where2GetIt’s Enterprise Web Service to Help Increase Revenue as Part of Their New Online Marketing Strategy

With their recent ownership change behind them, Church’s Chicken is now focusing on increasing brand awareness while at the same time driving more consumer sales by putting a new online interactive marketing strategy in place.

The new flash based website required Church’s to migrate from Where2GetIt’s Hosted Locator application to the Enterprise Web Service so they could seamlessly allow website visitors to find their local Church’s Chicken across 15 countries worldwide.

The Enterprise Web Service is a robust API for Application Developers to create sophisticated location based applications in the environment of their choice. This empowers Church’s agency, Xylem Interactive, to pull content from Where2GetIt’s servers, perform location based searches for their locations, get maps, and incorporate this information in the new website design.

As the new interactive marketing initiative is rolled out, Church’s also has the ability to add features like Turn by Turn Driving Directions, SMS Text Messaging, Coupons, and even Template Driven Micro-sites for their local franchisees. Consumers are looking for more and more local information when they are doing research online and these location based services will help increase the bottom line.
