Where2GetIt gives Santa a helping hand this holiday season thanks to our valued clients. By participating in the Chicago Sun-Times “Season of Sharing” program, the Where2GetIt team was able to purchase, wrap and deliver gifts to 100 of Chicago’s needy children.
The newspaper collects thousands of letters to Santa, written by children in Chicago Public Schools located in low-income neighborhoods and from Head Start programs and homeless shelters.
“It has been very rewarding to participate in the Season of Sharing program again this year,” said Manish Patel, President and CEO of Where2GetIt. “The children write wonderful letters to Santa asking for clothes, toys and other gifts. We do this not only for the kids, who might otherwise get nothing, but also for the entire Where2GetIt team and our clients. It feels good knowing that these kids will be opening presents this holiday season.”
Where2GetIt would like to thank our clients and partners for giving us the opportunity to participate in programs like this. We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary in 2007 and look forward to celebrating in similar fashion next year.
