Where 2 Get It Introduces Branded iPhone Locators for National Brands

Downloadable App Store Locator and iPhone Mobile Web Locator Places Corporate Branded Logos on the iPhone

ANAHEIM, Calif., April 22, 2009 – Where 2 Get It, Inc., a leading provider of Local Search for National Brands™, today introduced its branded iPhone App Store Locator and iPhone Mobile Web Locator. iPhone Locators are being showcased at ad:tech SF in booth 1246.

ViewSonic sees the value in providing a branded iPhone App on Apple’s iTunes Store, which is about to hit the 1 billion download milestone. When downloaded a branded ViewSonic logo will be added to the iPhone homepage. The ViewSonic App will auto detect your location using the built in iPhone GPS when searching for a location. The iPhone application for ViewSonic was submitted to Apple last week and should show up soon on iTunes (preview screens).

Where 2 Get It’s new iPhone Locator enables companies to have their branded logos appear on user iPhones. When a consumer searches for a company website (iPhone Locator) on an iPhone it will automatically redirect them to the iPhone Locator. Users simply enter in a zip code or city/state to get locations as well as driving directions. A branded logo is then easily added to their iPhone homepage by clicking on the + sign at the bottom of the iPhone. Smart phones use the standard Mobile Locator.
