Mobile Browser mobile locator is basically a wireless version of the Business Locator. It enables people to search for your local businesses directly from web-enabled devices such as cell phones or PDA’s. They can even place a call to your local business with a simple click. How’s that for convenience?

Where 2 Get It has invested in the short code “LOCATE” or 562283 for our clients to use for 2-Way SMS. This shared code will offer faster time to market as well as reduced entry costs. This is a great way to test out our Mobile Locator technology without making a huge commitment.

So how would this work for you?

Consumers would type in a KEYWORD plus a ZIP CODE and send it to the short code LOCATE. See the example below.

With SMS Text Messaging, your customers can send location information from your website directly to their mobile device. From the Business Locator results page, they simply select an SMS link (these links appear alongside each business location). Once they enter the number of their mobile, we immediately send the appropriate business information directly to it. They’ll see the name of the business, as well as the address, phone number and driving directions, displayed right on their mobile. Pretty handy.

800 Interactive Voice Response

When we developed the 800 Interactive Voice Response, we borrowed a few ideas from Alexander Graham Bell. After all, the telephone provides an easy and inexpensive way for consumers to find your nearest locations. Think Alex would approve?

The 800 Locator is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Here’s how it works. When your customer enters a zip code on their mobile device (after calling your 800 number), the 800 IVR shows them your nearest business location(s). This information comes from the Business Locator database, so your customer gets the same results, whether they search from your website or from their phone. Just makes sense to do it that way.

800 Interactive Voice Response - IVR

When we set up your 800 IVR, we can integrate it with your current call center, which will automate and streamline your operations. Or if you want to use a new 800 number, we can do that too. Either way, your customers get the right information. And you don’t have to put them on hold. Boy, does, that speed things up. As a result, 800 IVR reduces the average duration of each call. It’s really a great way to reduce your telecommunications costs.
